A slow burn produces more heat over time. So the years of effort put forth by terns are starting to pay off as they prepare to release their third album; second in the last year. “Bees”, while standing to be a departure from previous efforts, will continue to combine genre-blending folk with acoustic, indie-rock. Terns is comprised of singer/songwriters Tim McArthur and Jordan Fox, with the recent addition of The Butter Pie in Mike Gowing and Gillian Matheson. Employing concise songs, artistic arrangements, endearing melodies and a host of instruments, terns and the butter pie have something real nice in the slow cooker.
